How much equity can I release?
|
Equity Release - Our ServiceAfter a full and detailed factfind of your needs, assets and circumstances, we will tell you if we think that Equity Release is for you. If we agree that it is, then we will prepare a written report for your consideration.
Our first consultation is always free so we can be comfortable in assessing if these plans may be right for you and also so you can be confident in us.
We make no apology for the detail we need to go into to make sure our advice is sound and that you have done the right thing - this protects both you and us.
Your report will take account of any benefits you may currently be receiving and highlight any that might be lost if you took out an Equity Release scheme. Some benefits are means tested and the extra capital released, even if it isn't used to generate an income, could prejudice your rights to some of these, e.g. Council Tax Benefit
If, after our first free consultation, we decide that we should progress to the report stage, then half our standard fee of £250 is payable up front with the remainder being paid on completion. Should the plan not complete for any reason, this fee is not refundable as it is a fee for work done.
We fully support the regulator's initiative on Treating Customers Fairly and would not wish to do otherwise!
